CONGRATULATIONS TO MS. BẢO'S FAMILY ON BEING GRANTED A 188A TEMPORARY RESIDENCE VISA - BUSINESS INNOVATION STREAM WITH NEW CONDITIONS AFTER 01/07/2021

As previously reported, starting from 01/07/2021, the Australian Department of Home Affairs has made changes to the conditions for the Business Innovation and Investor Visa (188/888) streams, marking a new chapter in the Australian immigration program with stricter criteria for the 188A/888A visa stream, such as:

  • Net assets in Vietnam increased from AUD $800,000 to AUD $1,250,000.
  • Company turnover in Vietnam increased from AUD $500,000 to AUD $750,000.
  • The validity of the 188A temporary residence visa increased from 4 years and 3 months to 5 years.
  • The period for applying for the 888A permanent residence visa increased from 2 years to 3 years (after being granted the 188A temporary residence visa).

After consulting and guiding Ms. Bảo, she decided to entrust us with the application for the 188A temporary residence visa for her family. On 26/10/2021, we submitted her application to the Australian Department of Home Affairs after receiving state nomination from New South Wales.

However, by the end of 2022, all 810 quotas allocated for the Business Innovation and Investor Visa (188/888) streams for that financial year were exhausted. During that period until now, the Department of Home Affairs has ceased accepting new applications for the 188 visa, and the processing time for previously submitted 188 visa applications has been extended beyond the expected timeframe.

On 08/03/2024, Ms. Bảo's family received a request from the Australian Department of Home Affairs to provide additional documentation, including obtaining police clearances and undergoing health checks.

As a well-deserved reward for over two years of waiting, on 9/5/2024, Ms. Bảo's family and Australian Migration Advisor Long Phan were delighted to receive the great news from the Department of Home Affairs that the 188A visa had been granted to her family, opening a hopeful new chapter for their upcoming journey in the beautiful and livable country of Australia.

This good news marks another positive outcome after Australian Migration Advisor Long Phan submitted a petition to the Australian House of Representatives to address the prolonged delays in processing the 188 temporary residence visa applications, gathering 520 supporting signatures.

Ms. Bảo is one of the pioneering entrepreneurs to be granted the 188A visa under the new conditions post 01/07/2021 by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

We hope that in the near future, we will receive more good news for the entrepreneurs awaiting their 188 visa grants.

CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. HOÀNG'S FAMILY FOR SUCCESSFULLY FULFILLING THE COMMITMENTS OF THE 132A VISA - BUSINESS TALENT STREAM IN NEW SOUTH WALES.

Accompanying Mr. Hoàng from the initial steps of the 132A visa journey from Vietnam to Australia and throughout the business operation period, Australian Migration Advisor Long Phan continued to be honored to support Mr. Hoàng during the 132A Monitoring Survey process. Since the 132A visa grants direct permanent residency, both the Australian Government and the state set very high standards for the business plan's conditions and quality. For example, New South Wales requires a minimum investment of AUD $1 million and the employment of three local staff in the Regional area.
